Thrills and Chills: A Birthday Adventure in the Poconos!

 Hey everyone! Katelyn Mayer here, your PA & MD REALTOR®, sharing another one of our memorable getaways. This time, I want to tell you about a birthday celebration back in August 2022, when we swapped the beach for the mountains and headed to the Poconos for a night of fun and adventure!


Our Poconos Basecamp: Comfort Inn & Suites

For a quick birthday getaway on August 6th, 2022, we decided on a short, one-night trip to the beautiful Pocono Mountains. We stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites Near Pocono Mountains, checking in on Saturday, August 6th, and checking out the following day, August 7th. It was just two adults in one room, perfect for a short, focused escape.

The Comfort Inn & Suites was a solid choice for our needs. It offered all the amenities you'd expect from a reliable chain hotel – clean, comfortable, and a good base for exploring the area. After a full day of celebrating, it was great to come back to a consistent and easy experience.


Getting Dirty in the Mountains: Pocono ATV Tour!

The highlight of our Pocono adventure, and the main birthday thrill, was definitely the Pocono ATV Tour! On Sunday, August 7th, 2022, we kicked off our day with some serious off-roading. Our tour was scheduled from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, giving us a full hour of tearing through trails and getting wonderfully muddy.

It was an absolute blast! There's something incredibly exhilarating about navigating those rugged paths, feeling the spray of dirt, and taking in the raw natural beauty of the Poconos from a unique perspective. It was the perfect dose of adrenaline for a birthday. We laughed, we got a little (okay, a lot) dirty, and we made some fantastic, high-octane memories.


Making Every Moment Count

Just like I've shared with our Atlantic City and Hershey trips, this Poconos getaway was another reminder that life's best moments aren't always about grand gestures or perfect plans. It's about seizing opportunities for adventure, even if it's just a quick overnight stay, and making memories that truly resonate. The thrill of the ATV tour, combined with the comfortable simplicity of our hotel, made for a perfectly balanced birthday celebration.
